## What It Does

HoleSnap Flow Scene creates procedural geometry from a generator, a canvas, a recipe, and scene parameters. Seeded generators use a seed for reproducible variation. Shared Grid is deterministic from its topology and geometry settings. The shared visual workbench then applies boundary processing and exports the final geometry.

Flow Scene is a separate editor app. It is not a layout mode inside HoleSnap Mesh.

## Current Generators

### Cell

Cell generates irregular Organic Cells / Stone Mosaic geometry. Controls include Seed, Cell Size, Density, Bridge Width, Randomness, Relaxation, Stretch, Corner Radius, and Edge Margin.

### Flow

Flow generates Stream-style line geometry. Controls include Seed, Mode, Line Spacing, Line Width, Direction, Turbulence, Wavelength, Amplitude, and Edge Margin. Parameter presets provide water, air, ripple, and vortex-like starting points.

### Growth Network

Growth Network currently generates Leaf Veins in two supported compositions. Controls include Seed, Coverage, Branch Depth, Branch Spread, Primary Width, Branch Width, Taper, Smoothness, Curvature, and Randomness. Tree, Root, and Coral are not current public options.

### Turing Maze

Turing Maze generates continuous reaction-diffusion-inspired contours. Current scenes are Labyrinth, Fingerprint, and Flow Bands. Controls include Seed, Pattern Scale, Open Ratio, Contour Smoothness, and scene-specific fingerprint or flow-band controls.

### Shared Grid

Shared Grid creates continuous common-edge networks. Current topologies are Honeycomb, Square, Triangle, and Diamond. Controls include alignment, three edge treatments, cell size, line width, offset, scale, honeycomb orientation, and diamond angle.

Other experimental or compatibility generators may exist in the codebase, but they are not current user-facing Flow Scene options.

## How It Works

1. Set the canvas dimensions, background, and aspect behavior.
2. Select Cell, Flow, Growth Network, Turing Maze, or Shared Grid.
3. Adjust the generator-specific recipe and, when available, the seed.
4. Use a rectangular or circular boundary.
5. Choose Hide or Trim and adjust margin, corner, or rotation settings.
6. Preview the generated geometry and status information.
7. Sign in and export SVG or DXF.

The same normalized recipe and seed are intended to reproduce the same seeded result. Shared Grid is reproduced from the same geometry parameters.

## Boundary and Preview

Flow Scene uses the shared HoleSnap workbench for canvas display, zoom, pan, fit view, ruler, display settings, panel layout, and export feedback. Rectangle and circle boundaries can hide geometry outside the usable region or trim geometry at the edge.

## Outputs

- SVG: vector output generated from FinalGeometry through the HoleSnap export service.
- DXF: CAD/CAM handoff generated from FinalGeometry through the HoleSnap export service.

Exports require sign-in and are subject to daily quotas. Flow Scene does not currently export STP/STEP.

## Current Limitations

- User-facing project save, load, and refresh recovery are not currently available.
- The Flow Scene template market is not currently available.
- Undo / Redo, a Displacement card, Bridge Engine analysis, and Open in Mesh are not currently available.
- Bridge Width is a generation target, not a measured minimum bridge value or manufacturing guarantee.
- Complex trimmed output should be inspected in the exported SVG or DXF and in the target software.

- Use Flow Scene when the design starts from a procedural generator, recipe, or topology.
