Image to Perforation is now a workbench

Image to Perforation now feels closer to the main Editor, making it easier to turn logos, line art, photos, and textures into exportable perforation patterns.

  • After uploading an image, canvas size, pitch, diameter, hole shape, layout, and image threshold controls live in one workbench.
  • Left and right settings panels can collapse, float, and be rearranged, so you can keep a large preview visible while tuning details.
  • SVG and DXF now use the shared export flow; DXF still follows the membership rule and is suited for laser cutting, perforated panels, signs, and decorative panel samples.
  • Uploaded images and current parameters are preserved as much as possible through sign-in, so you can continue from the same workbench state afterward.
  • Mobile layout, language switching, export messages, and membership entry points were also aligned for easier review during client or shop-floor discussions.

Editor gradient and pattern statistics upgrade

This Editor update improves gradient behavior and export consistency for complex patterns such as decorative screens, acoustic panels, facade skins, and grille layouts.

  • Shape, density, size, and angle changes are easier to read on the canvas, making it clearer where a variation starts and how it transitions.
  • Shape transition behavior has been improved so hole styles can move from one form toward another with a softer visual rhythm.
  • The bottom canvas statistics now reflect the final visible geometry more closely, estimating hole count, open area, and minimum bridge before export.
  • SVG / DXF / STP exports continue to follow the same geometry result, reducing mismatches between the canvas and exported files.
  • This release also includes smaller interaction, path handling, and export-check improvements for steadier complex-pattern work.

Polar Array is now available

You can now build radial patterns such as ring dot arrays, spiral dots, radial blades, fan guards, and speaker grilles directly in the Editor.

  • Layout now includes Polar Array, with controls for rings, radii, points per ring, angle range, and orientation.
  • Five presets make it faster to start from ring dots, spiral dots, radial blades, fan guards, or speaker grille layouts, while Shape still controls the hole style.
  • Subtle canvas guides show the center, inner clearance, start radius, outer radius, and sector angle range while editing.

Korean support and mobile experience updates

HoleSnap now includes Korean site and Editor copy, plus mobile navigation, template image fallback, and topbar polish.

  • Korean content is now covered across the website, with language menus, sitemap, and LLM text updated together.
  • The mobile homepage now uses a side menu, with language switching included in the mobile menu.
  • Template Market images fall back to a usable preview when a source image fails, while the Editor export menu and topbar controls are more stable.

Seed support for density and shapes, Rules control for shapes

Density distribution and shape choices are now reproducible with Seed, while Shape Rules provide more precise shape control.

  • Use the same Seed to recreate stable density and shape distribution for saving, revising, and exporting again.
  • Shape Rules can apply rule sequences by row or column and use tokens to arrange base and target shapes.
  • Useful for natural decorative panels, acoustic textures, and repeatable SVG pattern work.

Curve controls for gradients

Gradient controls now support curved paths, so size, angle, shape, and density can follow arcs, S-curves, and closed curves.

  • Curve now sits next to Point and Line controls and supports multi-segment Bezier drawing.
  • Curves can be closed, adjusted with handles, and edited by adding or deleting control points.
  • Canvas preview and SVG / DXF / STP export continue to use the same gradient result.

Bezier control in the path editor

The path editor now supports the Anchor Point tool and Bezier handles for freer custom holes, merged shapes, and boundaries.

  • Added an Anchor Point tool for dragging Bezier handles, with Shift+C as the shortcut.
  • Merged boolean paths can still be rounded and edited; inner holes stay hollow and the result remains one layer.
  • Edited paths continue through the existing canvas and SVG / DXF export pipeline.

Angle gradient and closed Line updates

This update focuses on angle gradient control and adds closed-curve support for Line, with quick conversion to squares or custom N-sided polygons.

  • Angle gradient controls are clearer when tuning direction, angle, and transition range.
  • Line can now close into a curve and quickly convert into a square or custom N-sided polygon.
  • The rest of the release groups smaller bug fixes and hint improvements to reduce editing and pre-export confusion.

Clearer gradient preview

When adjusting size, angle, or shape changes, the gradient direction is easier to read on the canvas and easier to compare across options.

  • Helpful when comparing decorative screens, acoustic panels, and visual texture variations.
  • Overlay hints make it clearer where a change starts and where it transitions.
  • Row and column changes are more predictable, so preview work needs less trial and error.

Smoother editing experience

Point controls, line elements, and custom paths feel more continuous, so everyday pattern tuning is interrupted less often.

  • Common parameters are easier to understand from preview through export.
  • A set of small fixes around path editing, rotation, and export checks was included.
  • These improvements also prepare the Editor for shape transition gradients and richer shape editing.
