Start with Mesh when the pattern needs deliberate geometric control. It is the main HoleSnap workspace for adjusting shape, size, spacing, density, angle, open area, and layout before exporting a vector file for design or fabrication.

Mesh starts from parameters and is best for precise, repeatable geometry. Flow Scene starts from organic cells and flow fields. Pattern starts from an image, SVG, or logo and creates an editable perforation-style foundation. They are different starting points, not interchangeable modes of one canvas.
